Chocolate balls rolled in coconut

These treats are a real crowd pleaser when it comes to kids! You can roll them in pearl sugar, coconut flakes or in sprinkles for an authentic Swedish chocolate ball mix. They are very quick and easy to make too!

Ingredients 4 servings

Chocolate balls
50 g (1.76 oz) unsalted butter, soft
65 g (2.29 oz) sugar
15 g (0.53 oz) cocoa powder
10 ml (0.34 fl oz) milk
100 g (3.53 oz) rolled oats
50 g (1.76 oz) coconut flakes


Chocolate balls
Preheat oven to 200° C (392 degrees Fahrenheit)
Toast the rolled oats in the oven for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Toast the coconut flakes in the oven for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Mix the butter, sugar, cocoa powder and milk with a spoon. Add the rolled oats.
Roll into bite size balls.
Roll the balls in the toasted coconut flakes
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Sprinkle the coconut flakes in a line and put the chocolate balls in a row.
